Oh the emotional maturity of the Indian leadership.

Economically, India is not competing against China. India is competing against Southeast Asia. Southeast Asian countries are trying their best to maintain good trade relation with everyone. India is hellbent on tanking its trade relation with China. It's clear who will become the new manufacturing center. Maybe India will get another chance in 2050 after the coming Southeast Asian boom wanes. But I bet the next time it will go to a more youthful Africa.

I think Sri Lankan administration puts a lot of effort to increase relations with SE Asia. India and Pakistan are truly hopeless at this point.
