What's new

In a first, Chinese papers 'dare' to criticize govt

.
No need to be afraid. The PRC knows you well enough to have faith that whatever 'criticisms' that you may have against China would be mild compared to what those who are NOT under China's thumb could dish out. The Chinese government knows your 'criticisms' are not real. The Chinese government does not need to know you are here in order to have faith that you are here more to criticize the US than to stand against China. Any criticisms you may expressed against the Chinese government are merely window dressing or like heavy make-up on cheap prostitute.

since the government doesnt care whether we criticize it or not we are obviously free to do so~~

. . .
Should mods take any action now?
For what? Because you do not like it? Criticizing the government, ANY government, is fair game. But of course, you would not understand it.

Of course the PRC government does care. We have US citizens calling US Presidents everything from liars to sex predators to war criminals, not just in print or in electronic forms but out on public streets. Richard Nixon resigned because of two reporters -- Watergate. Look it up. Do you really think YOU can do the same in downtown Beijing? I work with several Chinese engineers and all of them confirmed that as far as political rights and freedoms goes, US citizens have it far better than Chinese citizens. They admitted that only in the US can they speak and criticize the PRC government freely.

so it it true???

oh yeah its definitely true, i currently am in an internet cafe with 100 other people and behind every one of us theres a sunglasses wearing PLA soldier with a pistol pointed at the back of our heads. if we even think about thinking of type 1 word against the government they'll pull the trigger.

when we eat the soldiers order us to lift our chopsticks, ingest, bite, chew, and swallow, if they don't order us to swallow we have to keep chewing.

and to watch over the soldiers, there's another row of soldiers with pistols pointed at their heads
