Strangly none seem to draw those arrows pointing eastward. The same amount of african slaves were traded within the Arab ME world (over a time period a couple of hundred years longer). Maybe the fact that not many survived and procreated is the reason this part of african slavery is being ignored.

But at the intellectual level, if America did not invented slavery, as many, possibly including YOU, in this forum believes so, then any thinking person would inevitably ask: What about other countries and their roles in slavery?

That is why there are more 'discussions' about slavery in America than about other countries and societies that participated in the same trade. Another interesting fact: Many de facto slaves were initially Irish brought over by the English. They were later described as "indentured servants", a term that is still widely used for similar practices in large parts of the world even today, including the land of PDF. A rose by any other name ... ... (or a slave by any other name ... ... )
