Imran Khan's Islamabad Rally - امربالمعروف - Updates & Discussion

. . .
His enjoying some sincere support inside Pakistan compared to some puppets because the man is a geninue patriot. He bleeds Pakistan and dies on that hill
No matter if IK wins or loses a vote of no confidence, he is a winner, and next election he might get to 2/3 because PDM has exposed the corrupt parties badly and people have realized it as well.

Though IK will loose vote of no confidence but surely PTI is strongly gearing up for the next elections and sympathy vote will now be with IK. Only problem will be Central Punjab (Lahore region in particular) where PMLN is immensly strong.
This is in Lahore.

Political parties are joke in Pakistan, what a bunch of corrupt lunatics. Pakistan deserves new blood, educated and intelligent leaders, dump those all fat/old stinky bhutto's and Sharifs and Maulana's for good.

Bolna aasaan hai, no one will do. The current ones have lots of power. What will a random person do if someone hires a hitman to take him out?

People used to say that post 14th August 1947 as well, Problem with Pakistan is that awaam (nation) is corrupt down to their very DNA, Gareeb bhi chor hai aur Ameer bhi.

Why doesnt he goes for elections then? Surely with such popular support - he should have more seats rather than kneeling to punjab kei daakus, to karachi kei qatils to what not?

With every passing moment, opposition seems to be in a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation. If Imran wins, he will come out more popular for an early election. If he loses, he will take this momentum into the election while opposition has to deal with the economy.
Our politicians aren't the sharpest tools in the box.
The only thing they are good at is graft, money laundering and corruption.
IK is playing a blinder.
He has them boxed in a corner.
Even if he loses this battle, he'll eventually win the war.

bro if he loses this motion of no confidence, it will be very hard for him to even become a formidable opponent. Most of the electable will jump boat and as much as we all would love to see genuine people winning but the public is filled with sellouts and idiots. He will loose everything , its all a game of perception.
I don't think public is that bad either. 1998 coup were easy for musharraf because public were fed up with corruption of both pppp and pmln. Musharraf giving nro to criminals and paving their way into the country was his own fault, there was no popular demand or pressure from public to give nro to ppp and pmln.

2008 pti abstained and ppp benefitted from sympathy vote. Even though niazi participation may not have made absolute difference but it would have been significant.

2013 niazi himself claims that elections were rigged. Can you blame public if elections are rigged.

2018 is also in question when rts stopped working for no sensible reason. My suspicion is that results were rigged and pmln, ppp were the beneficiaries.

In a way, public paid the price because they had already turned down pmln. The disastrous tenure of pmln led to the economic crisis in 2018. Public paid the price through no fault of their own. You cannot always ask to pay the price for incompetence and degeneration of forces higher above themselves. And despite this rampant, crushing inflation, didn't people rally around him to defend his government? Niazi has been such a disappointment for all the promises before election and yet public rallies around him in hour of need. What more do you want public to do?
