I have respect for him but not a fighter enough, at least as of now. Compare with Mujib who went all in when he had an infinitely higher chance of being killed than IK given Mujib was a Bengali and they had a total disregard for Bengali lives. IK hasn't even put up a fight going by Mujib's standard.

Mujeeb had the backing and full support of India which was standing literally with 1000 miles of territory between him and the colonial sepoys. Mujeeb could afford to take liberties. Plus he wanted a clean break, IK may not be a revolutionary but he is certainly not a separatist.

If generals try something, Pakistan will be engulfed in civil war. It won't be like 1971, Bengalis were one ethnicity, one laguage group and almost one religion, there was no disunity. Pakistan is not like that, there are many different fault lines and they won't fight in an united manner.

Please also appreciate what happened to Biharis. That was wrong too. Yes, what Bengalis suffered in 71, in fact, since British arrival, is too much.
