I do not know about the details.But I heard that he is 'approved' by military and religious parties for his conservative and conventional stands.He supports blasphemy and other stuffs,vehemently oppose American presence in Afghanistan, so it is understandable that militants may have a benign views about him and would not be a danger for his life.

He was referring to the Afghan Taliban. Like they got office in Qatar, so why not in Pakistan!

International establishment is clearly not happy with him and with no courtesy phone call from POTUS, it is clear that the main danger will come from them.

It was TTP. Main establishment was never at wars with Afghan Talibans. It was with TTP as several allegations pointed towards the collaboration between India and Afghanistan intels which is responsible for the death of more than 100,000 including the children, women and old people. 1. The religious parties MMA are protesting against Imran Khan... Not just because they lost the election... But they hate the Sufi Imran versus the extremists.

2. There has been zero evidence of military establishment involvement in the election. And even if there was... Why did Imran end up with a minority barely winning election? So is essence if your theory is correct, the military is pretty pathetic at rigging the election??
