Imran Khan phones Sheikh Hasina

It would be a great gesture to the peoples of our countries if our politicians chose to be treated in our respective countries.
In the UK people show great respect to politicians who are treated in state hospitals and who educate their children in state schools.
Those that go private have been criticised in parliament and in newspapers in the past.

BD under Hasina is the only government which has come up to support Indian actions in Kashmir. Perhaps IK is now eyeing to somehow remove that support as well.

This is the tradition of all politicians of developing countries to get treatment from more developed states. The only health benefits they wholeheartedly invest in are personal health benefits. But for an eye? She could have gotten it done in India if she was travelling there in the first place. Would have saved some $$$. From what I know India does have good doctors. As for Pakistan expecting any sorf of political neutrality - let alone siding with Pakistan - over Kashmir by Hasina, Nah! forget it. Not happening.

DHAKA, Oct 2, 2019 (BSS) – Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan phoned Bangladesh Premier Sheikh Hasina today and exchanged pleasantries and inquired about the recent treatment of her eye in London.

“Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan phoned Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina this afternoon and exchanged pleasantries,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS.

The Pakistan premier inquired about the condition of her eye, which was operated in London, he said.

Sheikh Hasina thanked Imran Khan for inquiring about her eye condition.

very true, In Pakistan convicted criminal Nawaz was demanding to go to London for treatment despite being in jail.

My only problem with Hassina is that she likes to troll Pakistan and says how much better Bangladesh is.
Yet here we are.....
