From my point of view, I see a Pakistan with many problems. Moulana seeks power but has no idea how to solve these problems so he blames Jews, etc. Since the named minorities wield no power themselves in Pakistan he has to accuse someone else of being their agent. IK is the prime target-of-opportunity since his party is in power in K-P and Moulana wants a rationale to replace him.IK is not stopping to work for country because a Moulana is going out of mind. Moulana is starving for an opportunity which may undermine new KPK government and he is ready to do dance with devil for that. Sometimes it is necessary to lash the dog and that doesn't mean you seized to be human during the minutes you were doing that. Moulana needs a treatment, I hope he gets a very good one this time.
Won't taking Moulana to court simply prolong the accusations and enhance Moulana's stature? The doubts propagated will, I imagine, increase IK's danger of assassination. Better to take the moral high ground with the I-support-the-ahmadis-and-Jews route and reduce Moulana to a petty annoyance, yes? Sure, IK would rile some people up but what kind of government do you want, one that concentrates on how to clean streets and establish the rule-of-law or somebody's idea that a citizen doesn't have a right to these if someone prominent accuses him of having secret loyalties to imagined enemies so he can rule by force and keep as much taxes as possible for himself and his followers?
