Imran Khan expresses reservations on North Waziristan operation

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan has expressed concerns over security forces’ aerial operation against militants in North Waziristan on Tuesday.
Imran Khan was chairing a central core committee session of the party where the terrorist attacks on security forces were strongly condemned However; PTI chief also expressed concerns over the counter-terrorism policy and armed operation against the militants in North Waziristan saying the armed operation should be the last option.
PTI chief also said that the government should isolate those Taliban groups who are willing to negotiate from others. He further said the government should brief the parliament about the development of peace talks and that political leadership of the country should be taken into confidence about the security situation and military operation.
Imran Khan also emphasized on the evacuation of women and children from areas of conflict before bombing.

I have heard the same in Waseem Badami's 11th hour.

Can there be any rational explanation of this unabashed love of Taliban by the PTI leader? TTP kill Army jawans in Bannu and again in Rawalpindi. GOP is not sincere in talks uttered in the same breath as half-hearted condemnation by Imran Khan.

No matter how many Pakistanis are kiledl with TTP proudly announcing that they have done it; our wily Taliban Khan continues harping” We want to talk”. PTI leaders on TV debate repeat their Taliban Khan’s stance that let us talk to the groups that want to talk. If anyone heard statement by Taliban where they said that they would talk, one would clearly understand that their conditions for talk tantamount to surrender of the State of Pakistan.

On the other hand as soon as Army starts retribution against those who have admitted killing army Jawans, Imran Khan expresses “Reservations”. What have they done for him that while Taliban continue killing but Imran wants no harm come to his loved ones? Does Taliban Khan want us to accept Fazlullah as Amir of all Pakistan?

Allama Tahir Ashrafi has already declared that the whole sale slaughter of Muslim by Taliban under the guise of Islam is not Islam but outright barbarism. Mastung blast today, RA Bazaar blast yesterday, women anti- Polio workers shot etc and two jail breaks in KPK are not enough for Imran Khan. His heart only bleeds for Taliban murderers. How many more Pakistanis must die before PTI leader would agree that the nation should eliminate this cancer from Pakistan?

Kamran Shafi was 100 percent correct when he termed Imran Khan a ‘Coward’. But Imran Khan is the leader of PTI and his followers start using abusive language against anyone who dares insult their leader. I would rather accept personal abuse like ‘Leader’ already has done once than keep quite after seeing my innocent countrymen get killed every day by the Taliban.
