Pakistani Taliban don’t need office: Sartaj Aziz
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said that Pakistani Taliban didn’t need any office as the government was to hold talks with them inside the country.
Speaking to media, he said that issue of Afghan Taliban was different from Pakistani militants. “Militants name their representative and decide when and where to meet, you may consider venue of talks as your office,” Aziz said
He said there were various places, where meetings could be held for peace talks. He expressed sorrow over Peshawar blast and said the city was an easy target of extremists as it was located near volatile tribal region.

make it transparent dialogue, we cannot afford another SWAT like surrender. so pmln must not secretly do talks, its about having trust of the nation on what you are dealing; open and transparent.

Dude, you know that I'm a PTI supporter, right? Just take it from me, this is a huge miscalculation.
IK, is a Niazi, he has no say, I mean whatsoever in most of the Tribal areas. He is respected, but that's about it. The problem here is, when you negotiate, you negotiate from position of power. He unfortunately lacks that at the moment.
I know how IK thinks, he makes these "rag tag" band of "advisors", most of which unfortunately have no idea of ground realties, and are not even related to those areas.
Do you remember the fiasco where he was supposed to be going "Waziristan" couple months back in a huge convoy, and at the last moment the trip go cancelled. Do you know the reasons behind it? Or just an "unofficial" story?
If you are going to be a PTI'an, and want this party to thrive, you need to speak your mind, not party line. At the moment there are more yes men in PTI, which will eventually get it more and more delegitimized in front of masses, sometimes I think that these band of "advisors" are working for other political parties!
