Imran Khan calls for Britain to cut aid to Pakistan

Agree, this aid is a decease bcoz this money is not spent on Nation building, but goes into the pockets, socks, bikinis of politicians

Its a matter of perception no politician in today's world of free speech, democracy, internet and news channels up whole 100%if some says its 10%-20% it can understand but whole 100% is not possible.

I`m sorry I took it for granted that you will understand it. Probably my fault. Anyhow, since we were talking with respect to Imran Khan, so that means new team (supposedly honest one). I am not suggesting same people who looted the money will bring it back. I was talking with respect to a new honest team. Therefore, no more talking of same corrupt people.


I would add on something to my previous post

The money that is held in a Swiss Bank Account belongs to the owner of that account.Now suppose Mr X has a billion dollar in his account how will a honest government bring that money back if the owner is unwilling.And there would not be just one or two but thousands of such accounts.How would a non- Swiss government trace their owners.The best an honest government could do is that it would not allow any further leakage of wealth but it would not insulate pak from immediate Economic shock.

Now, my reply may seem strange and ironic. But I`m pretty sure Pakistani agencies have files that trace back on exactly who has how much amount. I am sure as corrupt governments do arm twisting to reach their goals. Likewise, if an honest government wants, it can do arm twisting to reach its ethical goals. Not a problem in asian countries - what do you reckon?. The only requirement is honest and the will to do it.

Honesty and will is required for sure but it in itself won't be enough.The people who have brain for making enough wealth that can be parked in Swiss Account would also be Brainy enough to cover their steps.I will give you an example from India .There is a Scrap dealer named hassan Ali who is acting as a fronts man of Corrupt politicians in our country.He opens Swiss Bank accounts in his own name and deposits billions into his accounts by hawala channels.You must also have heard about Schengen Visa.
Now the person who wants to transfer money to his account goes to a third country like France and then from there he goes to switzerland by train and transfers money to his account.This is one of the method.Other is by PN route.Hence the money trail is lost and cannot be regained if Swiss authorities do not cooperate.And the are very petulant in sharing information.They recently refused India's Request on some technicality that it is non-Payment of tax not tax evasion that is an offence in their country.
Hence just will on part of authorities won't be enough.It would need an sustained international campaign to force Swiss authorities to disclose information.

I dont know how things work behind the scenes in India. But as far as Pakistan is concerned, I am pretty much sure that its problem of will. I`d agree with you on the note that perhaps we cant achieve 100% target of bringing ALL the money back. However, we can surely bring A LOT of it back using whatever means necessary.

Ok so ppl taking up arms in ur country, having training camps in ur country and killing citizens in different countries the headache for the world and not pakistan?? Why do u ppl deserve a country if u cannot control ur citizens and administer ur borders ..Leave claim over the lands in ina matter of weeks the world will solve the problem of terrorism fro this part of the world.
