The prime minister of Pakistan is allowed to change the PCB chairman , according to the PCB constitution. I didn't tell you that because I wanted to see what was this all about, I wanted to know if you were a cricket fan or someone about to lose a cushy job (political appointee) and since you don't have a clue about cricket (PCB) it is obvious.
Of course he is allowed since he is PM of Pakistan but he made u-turn on his promises as he has been against political interference in the past is now politically interfering due to personal animosity. That is totally unprofessional.
Whether I know cricket or not but this position is being replaced by who has been inactive for administration for years since the last posting and probably not ideal for the long term either given his age.

He nominated Ehsan Mani as Chairman which means he is not yet appointed as one. He is to go through the selection process of PCB. I think Prime Minister can atleast do that according to the rules.
He made declaration in tweet that he appointed Ehsan Mani but then he changed it to nominated. Besides, that is how it works. A nominated person will win because he was appointed. No one in right mind would mess up with Imran Khan as PM of Pakistan especially since he blurted out the immediate appointment without process to begin with.

He didn't change it, he posted two tweets. Those are still there also how do you know that he changed the word? It could be that he corrected the word later on?
From the appointed to the nominated, that is pretty much game changer - might i add huge difference between both words. And Imran Khan is known to blurt out sometimes hence u-turn. He does the same he opposed in the past.

Ehsan Mani has to go through PCB process now. Imran in fact proved himself instead of having this totally PM decision he is letting PCB body decide
Najam Sethi resigned without given process to begin with never mind for Ehsan Mani who has been assigned is bound to get the job for sure whether it is through the process or not. It is rigged from the beginning to make room for Ehsan Mani at the expense of Najam Sethi because of personal vendetta.

Najam Sethi resigned on his own. Secondly it's not rigged right now process is that PM decides but still Imran Khan is letting board to decide. Finally your Sethi guy has long history of Anti Pakistan activities he was part of first group which created insurgency in Baluchistan. A known western puppet and Anti Islam guy please don't get me started on this Sethi Guy.
Of course, Najam Sethi has resigned on his own has no bearing on the appointment of Imran Khan as PM of Pakistan who made up mind on Ehsan Mani or personal history between them?
I thought we were having honest debate. My Sethi guy? I can see where this debate is heading to. It is impossible to have civilized debate. Carry on with his history as i am sure might have bearing on the decision.
