Similarly with dams the change can start but impact delayed. 10 major ones started by IK and many small ones started and completed esp in Balochistan which May be even more helpful. The change has started with dams but impact is 10-15 years away.
Although this flooding could not be completely prevented by dams it may have been able to soften the impact somewhat, especially if used in combination with an aggressive and proactive management strategy like COVId management. Heavier than usual monsoon was predicted for months. The flood have been happening for a month now. This is not a once in a milinium pandemic but floods which we do deal with. (Albeit these are much worse than usual)
Let’s hold ALL our leaders to the same standards. Khanzada ripping on IK for buying LNG on spot price but not saying anything to Mir Bajwa installed government when they have potentially larger “loss.” Has NDMA been activated by this imported regime? Who’s responsible? Off topic but We spent 515 billion on Neelum Jhelum (primarily under PMLN) to produce 1000 MW of energy and there was talk of corruption now it hasn’t been producing electricity for months and likely won’t for a year. Who’s to blame for its pipes leaking? And if we say it’s PML N why did Mir Bajwa impose these thieves on us?
You know there are bad answers to every one of my questions but I have yet to see an answer for Mir Bajwa bringing CIA agent Mohsin Drone Dawar back in to government. He knew how many CIA dollars are in the belly of that snake. But still chose to install this gov with him in it. Is IK worse than Dawar for Pak? Was it Bajra ego? Or something more worldly that motivated installing that snake back?
