Imposed Government gave another petrol shock to Cuckold Nation

Subsidies are not for money-printing banana republics that routinely beg the IMF for bailouts.

This is much needed course correction. Let people understand and feel the consequences of PDM & military rule. This way, they will make better choices when voting in future elections.

I was of the opinion that such subsidy reduction is essential and desirable. But there was another opinion expressed by a former member of the group.

Posting on behalf of Nilgiri Thambi (if anyone here remembers him)

"It boils down to will causing this much inflation so intensely on inelastic demand inputs in exchange for a little more forex and fiscal room, really change things. Do you have a competent economic team that knows exactly where the first tiers of investment have to flow to, to saturate there bit more before you can move up the tiers and so on. But Pakistan's establishment decidedly has chosen to never do this, it cares about appearances at all cost, it cares about the DHA cushy stuff at all cost. There is heavy crony corporatism (at such early stage) that is sunk in and wont displace by all this. So routing water around all of this a bit differently isn't going to change much. The deep structural reform needed to be done piece by piece over longer period of time. That needs some modicum of power be loosened from the khakis and their proxies, things that are unfathomable for them."

Regards

Too many words. Best to stick to first principles.
1. Pakistan is bankrupt and worse in public domain with public borrowing already beyond outer edges of sanity.
2. On foreign exchange front, same as above with additional constraint that liquidity can't be traded for inflation as foreign lenders shy away at current state of economy.
3. Petroleum is an imported commodity
4. using 1, 2 and 3, it is a criminal act to subsidize an imported commodity for private consumption, much of which may go for private transport of the wealthiest segment of population.

What may be justifiable is, sparingly targeted subsidies for essential public needs that benefits those below median incomes.

They are doing this deliberately, keep raising the prices then bring
in Mota Nawaja then bring prices a little bit down. Then they will feed
the awaam that Mota Nawaja has decreased inflation. lol

All this jaali mehngai is being done by Asim Whisky and his GHQ gang.

they are doing this deliberately for Mota Nawaja's return, they will raise it so high
and when Mota Nawaja comes into power through election rigging they will
reduce it so the awaam accepts this puppet imposed on them.

It won't make a single difference with Bhagora returning, duffers are throwing last dice in hope that Godfather will bring improvement, matter of fact it's way beyond them,

Pakistan is shafted and doomed there will be no democracy until the military goes back to barracks.
