Importing Fuselage Technology from Turkey for Research

Turkey cannot divert any technology acquired for F-35 programme or their knowledge & experience on it. Its Lockheed's/US' IPR. They agreed to American export control rules when they were transferred the technology.

There is no ToT and crucial technology sharing between parties. Yes we can't share manufactured parts' blueprints but what we have learned during the process is ours. Nobody has a word on it.

I have not seen the agreement on F-35 cooperation & am unable to find it on the internet. Don't know if it was put in the public domain. If you have knowledge and experience in this regard perhaps you can share (if possible)? I have had outreach programmes with the US export control experts & gone through some of their rules, which are quite stringent when it comes to knowledge gained from items owned by the US government or its companies. They apply rules to even nuts & bolts. Because of this CERN did not even purchase a paperclip from the US when it started to build its particle accelerator. If the Turkish industry's experience with F-16 and F-35 parts development has led it to develop own know-how and ideas that are radically different from American technologies then the U.S. cannot do anything about it. If they find the slightest hint of similarities they'll intervene & prevent developments by any means necessary.

I think when USA broke the rules of engagement with Turkey , and denied them F-35 now all actions are a fair bet. USA breached the agreement papers so Turkey is free to do what it wants

  • Turkey contributed $$Billions of Dollars
  • Engineering Minds

Turkey invested time / money and effort who got benefited Israel who get F-35

To make F-35 now they can't have plane , so they have 100% right to recover their loses

Any part made in Turkey falls under Turkish Law

Unfortunately, Turkey cannot do that. They are still vastly dependent on American weapon systems for their defence. If America cuts off all support in response to Turkey violating their export control laws & TPT agreements Turkish defence would take a big hit. They'll also be imposed with both military and economic sanctions. In that case improvements in the Turkish military would be slow and degradation would be fast paced. Any technological know-how shared by the US remains covered under the US Law, regardless of the bilateral situation.
