Indians can't stop talking about Hasina. The truth is in the last 15 years our GDP growth has been on the rise. Our highest GDP growth has been under military rule in 2007 with a 7.1 % growth.

This will kill the Indians from the inside but our GDP almost doubled under 5 years of BNP's rule in the 21st century.

The IMF forcast have always been rather conservative. I would not be too surprised if the actual growth for 2015-2016 is closer to 7%-7.1%....remember also a lot of the major infrastructure projects won't start to show through until later this decade.

2020 onwards you will most likely see growth start nudging closer towards the double digit growth area. Lack of infrastructure like roads, bridges, ports and airports...consistant power generation and distribution....diversification of the economy....red tape...and coruption, have held us back.

Hopefully we will see, faster growth in the comming years.....

Congratulations to Bangladesh. Shrimati Hasinaji's outstanding leadership is taking BD to new heights. BD populace must be saluted for showing prudence in electing Hasinaji.
