I can vouch for that, but this happened in Ozone Park, not Jackson Heights. Granted, Jackson Heights does have a large Hispanic and Bangladeshi population as well.

From what it seems it appears to be a community conflict issue. Seems Muslims and Hispanics aren't getting along in Ozone Park. Interestingly, the shooter is from Brooklyn, not Queens.
