In the past, PLAAF participated with only one main type, either J-10 or J-11....this time it brought two major platforms....some reports suggest that PLAAF participated with 30 aircraft, although that has to be yet confirmed...none the less, some serious war games are in progress.

These pics are more than enough to ring alarm bells in some quarters. PAF and PLAAF are employing their weapons together and we can perceive it as simulation of some joint and coordinated strike at a common target. Good to see increased joint training between the two forces.

In terms of avionics and electronic warfare capabilities J-11(J-11D) is better and as for aeronautics they are even.
