My dear brother -- you are clearly mistaken (I think you not being dishonest by your statements):
1. the PDPA government "invited" the USSR in
2. It was in Pakistan's interest to expel USSR -- but it was not in Pakistan's interest to accept any Afghan refugees.
3. It was not in Pakistan's interest to let Afghan refugees settle in urban areas on Pakistan
4. It was not in Pakistan's interest to let Afghan refugees attend Pakistani Universities, go to Pakistani hospitals.
At least be honest with yourself -- if it is too much for you to acknowledge it on a public forum, so be it -- but you only hurt yourself if you choose to fool yourself.
If instead of: "Jihad Afghanistan defai Pakistan" the motto had been: "Jihad in Afghanistan def-a Murgh-farm" would it have changed reality.
The people of what is now Pakistan (call em stupid if you will) have always been emotional for causes where Muslims have been hurt -- the poor people of what is now Pakistan helped Turks in the early nineteenth century -- women donated their Jewelry and what is one of the largest Banks in Turkey the Is Bank (pronounced Ish Bank) is a symbol of that. To this day Turks hold Pakistanis in such high esteem. That the Afghans are blind to this is their misfortune and it will consume you if things continue like they are.
Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey Singapore do not rely on Afghanistan or India to escape poverty -- Pakistan does not need Afghanistan (as India in reality does not give two figs about Afghanistan) -- go ahead and fool yourself -- perhaps one day in the not too distant future you will realize this.
My brother -- let me ask you this simple question -- how many times has the Eiffel Tower, the Empire State building been lit in Afghan colors when Afghans have died? -- you are a major ally of the West according to your own words.
You only fool yourself if you think human connection and emotions are somehow absent from the affairs of civilization.
