IG FC Stresses Baloch Youth To Join Army
QUETTA, Oct 1 (APP) - Inspector General of Frontier Corps Lt. Gen Salim Nawaz has called upon the Baloch youth to join Pak forces as an honorable means of income for their families.
He said this while addressing the passing out parade of Baloch regiment's first badge after the special relaxation for Balochistan youth here on Friday.
A total of 341 recruits have passed the training course. Youth are patriotic and talented and will not hesitate to render sacrifices if country needed, he said, adding the doors of forces are always open for Baloch and Pashtuns and they can prove their flair.
He said that the forces are offering special relaxation in appointments for Balochistanis so that the large number of appointments from the deprived province could be made in armed forces.
Hailing the increasing inclination towards joining Army and other forces in Balochistan, he said the endeavors made in this regards are bearing fruits. All available resources are being utilized to maximize the number of locals in the Frontier Corps, he said.
He announced Rs 0.2 million each for best cadet and trainer. Besides, he also announced Rs 50,000 for 4 other recruits for their best performance during the training. At the end, IGFC awarded medals and prizes among the distinguished cadets.
