The title of the thread is exactly as the news item was reported, but the thing that really disturbs me and which I would like to discuss with our Indian friends is the following:

animals should be treated equally as humans and that would be ramrajya for me , the rest of your post is bullsht which i will ignore , if someone takes law into his hand i think he should be punished. NDTV did a save our tiger campaign and were so proud of it , then why these double standards when it comes to a cow or a goat getting slaughtered daily in a slaughter house in UP which is run illegally...they don't deserve to live ?

It doesnt matter who you are replying to, your comments are taken 'stand alone'. What you typed makes no sense. Even when taking it in the context you mention because Bustards are not a religious icon for us just a national one. For you the cow is sacred, for us the Bustard is wildlife that should be protected. Big big difference.

I will support any govt who will save animals (not only cow) lives. I'm a pure veggie. My heart feel pain when I see innocent animals are being slaughtered to feed evil beings.
All slaughter houses must be closed soon. We should not become heartless when it comes on animals lives. They are also part of this universe and has every right to live their lives.
On the other hand, saving animals lives and development are two different things. You can carry both in parallel.
