These two events are very similar. Except Kashmir is a disputed region. Both Pakistan and India claim to own it. Turkey doesn't have sorvereignty to north Syria. Which makes the invasion less reasonable.
A peaceful settlement is required in North Eastern Syria, whereby the Kurds in that area should become part of Syria and the country reconstitutes it's entire territory. After which monitored elections should be held once all terrorists have been neutralized. Once elections have been held, all territorial natives of Syria should be given equal rights and autonomy to begin re-establishing their lives as free Syrian citizens. If the Kurds want independence, then a referendum should be held "
after the elections" and results should be respected by all parties concerned. However, the Kurds "
must not" pursue further ties or contact with the illegal, illegitimate and criminal state of fascist israel. Failure to do so, would be considered an act of aggression toward Syria, Iraq and Turkey. Turkey must work with Syria, Iraq and Russia to bring peace to the region, without having to compromise on its own security. Sending in troops to another country's territory is both illegal and is perceived as an act of aggression.
Iran also needs to begin establishing "true economic" ties with Iraq, Syria and Turkey in order to bring stability and peace to the region. All sides must adhere to what the Islamic Laws state and implement it to the letter in their respective countries. Minorities, Muslims or Non-Muslims, must be given equal and fair rights as to their native counter-parts. This is not the time for war, we are all Muslims and we are much more capable in achieving peace and prosperity, just as any other nation.
Kashmir must be given the opportunity to hold free and fair elections. Without the involvement of either Pakistan or india. International observers, with an international peace keeping military contingent must oversee these fair elections in Kashmir. After which, Kashmiris can decide whether they want to remain independent, or to integrate into Pakistan. The only guarantee Pakistan wants, is that "
no water blackmail/terrorism" ever occurs from the State of Kashmir. Water should be distributed according to the geographical layout of the rivers and the population's (Pakistan's) dependence on the rivers.
