Dear Friends as you know Pakistan army is using Chinese AK variants Type 56 and Type 56-1&2. Can you please identify AK variants used by Indian Army and their manufacture because is saw variety of AK clones have different specifications. I have deep interest in AK series rifles and will appreciate productive response by PDF users.

Indian Security Forces Get Home-Grown AK-47 Clone

Meanwhile, Kalashnikov's CEO Aleksey Krivoruchko said last week that the company has found a partner in India to launch co-production of AK-100 assault rifles. The agreement to this effect is likely to be signed this year.

Why bullet prove helmet not given javans
Patkas you can see in some pics are BP. They can withstand an AK bullet from front from as close as 10 meters. Anyway new MKU, Kanpur made BP helmets are started getting delivered to forces which are better and lighter(40% helmets are with inbuilt communication sets too)....first batch has gone to Rashtriya Rifles and rest are underway.
