Idnetify AK variants used by Indian Army in J&K

That picture is from RFI.
Production from 1991 as you can see from that picture

General Kalashnikov visited India only once, in February 2004 where he kicked up a row. The star attraction at Defexpo, a biennial defence exhibition in the capital, was being escorted around the stalls at Delhi's Pragati Maidan. He stood transfixed at the Indian Ordnance Factory board pavilion. On display there was a knock-off of his assault rifle with its distinctive banana shaped magazine. The pretense was so thinly veiled that the weapon was even called the 'AK-7'. The general made his disgust known. The OFB had illegally copied his design. His protest had an instant impact. OFB shelved the AK-7. Izhmash, the Russian factory that has produced the rifle since it was accepted for service in 1947, however did not pursue the copyright violation. Andrey Vishnyakov, Izhmash's fast-talking sales manager told me it was purely business. Russia hoped to sell the OFB the rights to make genuine AK-47s.

The recent version is called the "Ghaatak" a variation of the -103.

So called Ghaatak is an AK47 clone (with crappy finishing) not 103!

OK. I am asking generally. What is your favorite AK variant for personal use?

I own russian, chinese and hungarian variants.. i like all.

But i lije AMDs a lil more... coz its compact (made for paratroopers) .. more useful for defence .. if ones travelling or even for home defence.

Russian and a good Norinco are pretty much the same... the newer 100 series are also very nice.

Yes, I've edited my post.
AK103 is also manufactured by RFI.
No its not.

None of your posts shows an AK103, except one .. whose origin seems russian.. not indian.. since as of right now russians havent sold any 103s to india nor have they given you the license for producing it.

Your posts show 47 clones with off the shelf rails and a bad designed stock (with weird dot type patterns).

I will prefer the one with the highest firing rate after that the one with best handling.
Ak 103 have your desired specifications.

Hungarian AMD 65 is becoming very popular but i never saw Ak 103 owned by any one. Can you post pictures so that i can identify your Russian and Chinese models?
