What I find interesting seeing all these weapon systems on display from the likes of Turkey and Pakistan is the shift in centre of gravity of technology and proliferation of knowhow that was once only accessible form Western nations. The US has long used defence pacts and the supply of weapons to force nations to bend to its whims and foreign policy objectives, but that is slowly being eroded. Turkey, with its experience of the S-400/F-35 issue, and Pakistan's long-standing history of sanctions from the US, has spurred the drive to sperate from Western dominated reliance and supply chains, and thereby weaken US influence in these countries. Of course, the US has developed other means to influence the internal politics of these countries, but at least military supplies as a tool is waning. It will be really interesting to see what happens if even a few of the platforms on show actually become operational.

Turkey will be one of the most important suppliers of the Islamic nations. No one will have to kneel to the USA and Russia. We haven't succeeded yet, but we are very close to succeeding.
