Company Profile: Orkun İBAK is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of IBAK Defense Industry Inc., which also produces the complementary components of Aircraft, Tank and Mortar ammunition, while Tekin ÇETİNTAŞ, Hakan ÖNER and Cem GÜRBÜZ are the vice presidents. Sertan AYÇİÇEK, one of the well-known CEOs of Turkiye, is among the board members of the company, which exhibited the unmanned aerial vehicles they developed for use in the defense, logistics and agriculture sectors, as well as the robot dolphin, which attracted great attention at the SAHA Expo. IBAK Defense and its consortium, which has been providing integrated solutions to the Defense Industry sector with original designs, molds and innovative R&D studies for more than 20 years in its 15.000 m2 closed area production facility located in Istanbul; has aims to acquire a permanent and effective place among the big players of the sector.

IBAK Defense G-I rotary wing mini/tactical UAVs
G-I/E (Block-1) Gök Class, has an electric engine, can stay in the air for 2 hours, has 7kg payload and a range of 120km. The vehicle will grow gradually over the process of the project. In G-I/C, on the other hand, 740 kg MTOW and 420 km flight range are targeted.
G-II, G-III and G-IV VTOL UAV groups
It will be able to carry 9 mortars in its internal weapon station. It is also understood that EO/IR will be integrated in the body. There are not many technical details, but it seems that it will make its first flight this year.
The G-III will have a wingspan of 6.5 meters and a take-off weight of 150 kg. It is aimed to carry 50 liters of pesticides and spray 85 decares of land in 45 minutes in a fully autonomous manner. Agricultural use will not only be limited to spraying, but it will also be equipped to fly over the fields and make analysis possible.
As the G-II is mostly prepared for military use, it is avoided to give details about the project yet.
G-IV is a cargo VTOL UAV project that will develop on the G-III platform. The platform is planned as an 80kg useful load class military and civilian cargo UAV.
IBAK Defense Biomimicry Military Robot Dolphin
Soldier Robot Dolphins, which can carry payloads, were inspired by the Afalina dolphin species, which is frequently seen in Turkish territorial waters, and were designed to have the appearance, speed and agility of real dolphins thanks to biomimicry technology.
Biomimetic Soldier Robot Dolphins (unmanned watercraft), which will perform the tasks of Reconnaissance, Observation, Search and Rescue, Intelligence, Attack and Defense, singly or in a pack, communicate in an encrypted manner with the sounds of the Afalina herd in the natural life.
Thanks to the special outer coating used in its design, autonomous Military Robotic Dolphins, can withstand high pressure and can provide full-time information flow among themselves and with the Command Center.
It is not possible to detect robots, which cannot be distinguished from real dolphins, by underwater and surface systems, since they are produced without using propellers or similar propulsion units while preserving their natural appearance.
