IAI Unveils Dual Mode Medium-weight Laser Guided Bomb

Precise homing of the MLGB is achieved against both stationary and moving targets, taking advantage of its laser homing capability.

Its fixed wings are in a cruciform configuration...

Basically, all aircrafts, and this bomb is very much an aircraft, must have fixed and movable flight control surfaces IF the aircraft is to be maneuverable, no matter how brief its flight may be. The words 'fixed wings' does not mean all flight control surfaces are non-movable only that the fixed ones are in 'cruciform', meaning four in a cross pattern, to have greater stabilization in all flight axis. The aft fins would be the movable ones to affect attitude changes.
