Yes, there should be strict laws like all over the world. I really wonder in a country where mil. has ruled more years than the civilians, it couldn't push for the promulgation & implementation of such laws? Perhaps the laws exist but the corrupt land mafia bribed the civil departments & made its way while mil. establishment sat idle as mere spectators. It's a country where the word "bahria" (translation: Navy/Naval) is used by a private contractor and if you just check his employee list, you will get startled.Sir G, move the bases and after 10-15 years you will find the same issue of mushrooming housing societies/markets around them. Such situations also leads to security breaches, from which we already suffered.
There should be some restriction/legislation for civilian residential societies around bases after consultation with Air Force.
