The author mentioned everything the so called success of surgical strike but failed to mention there aircraft downing and of course there failure to deliver any evidence of the damages done by there attack.
Anyways Indians at there best IAF still trying to keep themselves relevant after their humiliations by the hand of a far smaller airforce. 80 something F16 are still giving them sleepless night. Wow
And this also raise the question of their claim of downing f16. If mig 21 can down f16 then they have su 30 and mighty tegas that shouldnt be a problem for them.
A piece of advise to IAF while placing order for ammunition plz place an order for good pilots.

.
They are lying . Infact We shifted all camps in Afghanistan . Now go bomb there , taliban are just looking for a reason to visit India right after installing there govt in Afghanistan.. :partay:

We should provide them safe passage through Pakistan.:enjoy::enjoy::dance3:

I am glad the indian airforce sole worry is f16 whilst our jf17 will continue to kill

You get fooled easily. When they say F16 read JF 17. IT is their biggest worry. But in their shame they don't want to name it.
Notice during all this conflict, the Indian media's strategy regarding JF 17 is "one that can't be name".

.
We should provide them safe passage through Pakistan.:enjoy::enjoy::dance3:
Yes even indian requested pak long ago.. They want trade route for Afghanistan .. Now talibans requesting us TRADE route to Kashmir... And even Americans know that Pak cant Cant say NO to its Munna..

IAF asks for fresh ammo as Pakistan moves up F16s, takes terror camps to FATA

It has been reliable gathered that there is hectic flying activity on both sides, including in the night.

No drawdown after Balakot strike as ops continue; air force to get replenishments.

NEW DELHI: The Air Force has asked the government to urgently purchase fresh ammunition for its fighters amid continuing tensions after Pakistan brought all its F16s upfront on the Indian border and moved terror camps out of IAF reach to the far west in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
ET has gathered that there’s hectic flying activity on both sides, including in the night. India has continued to maintain high operational alertness, having to fly several additional sorties of its fighters, fully loaded with their respective missiles which inevitably reduces the ammunition’s shelf life.

“These missiles have a certain life. While stored in a canister, this is counted in terms of the age of the system in years but when fighters are operationally deployed, the life of the missile depends on the number of sorties being undertaken. So we need fresh replenishments,” top government sources explained.

The ammunition required are mainly air-to-air missiles that jets on patrol have been carrying to counter the Pakistani air force.

What has irked the Indian side even more is that despite all the hectic consultations with the US after the Balakot strikes, the Pakistan Air Force has deployed its F16s at forward bases all along the border with India. Pakistani airspace has also not been fully opened for civilian traffic even though normal flying has resumed on the Indian side, sources pointed out.

While the Balakot strike came as a surprise to Pakistan, which was anticipating a hit at the Jaish-e-Mohammad headquarters at Bahawalpur, intelligence inputs suggest that post the “non-military” attack, terror camps have been moved to the FATA region, to take them out of the range of Indians fighter jets operating from near the Line of Control (LoC).

“The F16s have been distributed all across Pakistani airbases and are still trained at us. They are continuing to undertake night flying and have their air defence network on alert,” sources told ET, adding that Indian jets too remain in position to deter any misadventure.

On the Indian side, frontline jets, including the Su30MKIs and Mirage 2000s, remain placed for quick reaction and fighter strength has been increased at air bases in Jammu and Kashmir.
Post the surgical strikes in 2016 too, the Indian Army had moved emergency purchases to stock-up ammunition as the risk of full blown conflict with Pakistan had gone up. This included ammunition and other supplies for the special forces that had been deployed for the mission.
Well thats how we respond. The enemy provides the proof of our strikes mr writerhttp://www.newindianexpress.com/nat...an-troops-after-surgical-strikes-1542254.html

Indian Air Force seeks ‘fresh replenishments’ of missiles to counter Pakistan’s F-16s – report

The Indian Air Force has reportedly urged the government to stock up on munitions to counter Pakistan’s alleged buildup of F-16 fighters along its frontiers as cross-border tensions rise between the regional rivals.
An increasing number of armed sorties along the borders with Pakistan is taking its toll on the shelf life of Indian Air Force (IAF) ammunition. In order to maintain battle readiness and match Pakistan’s air fleet expansion on its doorstep, the IAF is seeking to acquire additional air-to-air missiles, India’s Economic Times has learned.

“These missiles have a certain life,” a top government source told the publication. “The life of the missile depends on the number of sorties being undertaken. So we need fresh replenishments.”

As India looks into the acquisition of additional weapons for their pilots, Pakistan has reportedly moved more of its F-16 jets to the border. While the Economic Times claims that Islamabad had moved “all its F-16s upfront,” Zee News reported that Pakistan has built an additional air squadron at Mushaf Airbase. The new unit will aid another Pakistan Air Force (PAF) F-16 squadron already serving at the base.

New Delhi maintains that Pakistan’s use of US-made F-16 jets against India potentially violates the terms of the American transfer agreement. So far, Islamabad has yet to confirm any additional air-power deployment to its border with India. PAF fighters, however, did carry out landing and takeoff exercises across the country’s motorways and highways on Monday.

Pakistan and India have maintained high-level of alertness following the IAF’s counter-terrorism operation in Balakot against Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) militants on February 26. The raid deep inside Pakistani territory came in retaliation for the Pulwama attack on February 14, in which a Kashmiri member of a Pakistan-based militant group killed 40 Indian paramilitary police in a suicide bombing.
