You know Indian have very little achievement in their 70 years of existence as an independent country.Comparing with China is out of question,even Indian overall performance is below that of BD and Pak.Although they got the best deal in partition(all the Industries,big thriving cities,better transport infrastructure,big administrative workforce, all the big sea port, airport,almost all of the revenue sources,all the mineral resources/mining). Compare this with us,we had to start from the scratch twice in the last 70 years.24 years of exploitation,devastating war,military rules.While India was free from all of these.With little real achievement,they have a tendency to boost on imaginary power/achievement.Going bonkers over the common courtesy of Chinese President is one of it's manifestation.

On a side note:I really liked the film 'Dangal'. After 'PK' this was a good bollywood film I watched. Hope they will break the hold of 'Masala' film's dominance in India by making this type of good film more often.

India didn't even achieve its independence rather were granted by Churchill. So you can't really expect them to know the amount of efforts needed to achieve something big. China has come through lots of struggles and hardwork to reach their current position, yet you will find the Chinese down-to-earth, they in fact still recognize themselves as a developing country. On the other hand, you got India who, even being stuck at bottom of the ladder in many indicators, funnily claim to be a super power.

On a side note:I really liked the film 'Dangal'. After 'PK' this was a good bollywood film I watched. Hope they will break the hold of 'Masala' film's dominance in India by making this type of good film more often.

I haven't watched it but I read it's about women empowerment. I would be glad if it raises the position of women in Indian society. India is a horrible place for women.
