Yeah.. I dont think the dispute is really the username.. But it's the writing style and vocabulary is anything but American.. More likely South Asian.. It should'nt be a huge issue though there are many false flaggers here but pretentiousness irks many people in general, Just like other posters you have mentioned

I thought his writing style was alright! Anyway, how does it even matter?

For all you know, he might indeed be of South Asian origin that worked and retired from the State Dept. His background is not something that we should worry about as long as he contributes to the discussion in some meaningful way.
