Nothing wrong with castes as long as they do not fragment the majority vote. Castes have a long history and provides a social security network. They cannot be forcibly done away and will grow much stronger before they weakens.

RSS should not encourage caste, but use it to get power in Caste crazy states like UP and Bihar.

But they DO fragment vote and they DO fragment our society and community.

Castes may have provided social security in an uncertain past but are outdated in a certain future. They are much better systems available today.

If RSS starts accepting realities and acting accordingly it will become another congress .......what makes them different is that they refuse to accept reality and still fight for a Utopian future. That kind of single minded devotion is inspirational too.

However BJP should certainly use caste to win a few seats and deliver good governance.
