As stated above ballistic missiles are hypersonic and travel at speeds of mach 5-7 depending on its stage.

India hs yet to test a Hypersonic Glide Vehicle. These are major threats that cant even be shot down by anti ballistic missile systems.

Shaurya Hypersonic missile a hybrid of Ballistic and Cruise missile technology.

Most of the ballistic missiles are hypersonic. However, when the word hypersonic is refferred, it is a missile with sramjet technology which does not use oxidizor but use atmospheric air for combustion and teavels at 5+ mach speed in cruise mode inside atmosphere and maintains the speed.

DRDO and ISRO both has hypersonic vehicle program and both have tested their vehicles successfully.

India has operational hypersonic missile Shourya and K15. Both travels at mach 8 inside the atmosphere and hence much more advance than hypersonic glide vehicles. However, they do not use scram jet propulsion but special rocket engines and hence technologically inferior to hsdtv and ISRO hypersonic vehicle.

India is barely ahead of nations like pakistan, israel, or turkey.

That’s what I said, its a Hybrid as per DRDO. Hence it is a cruise missile which follows a semi-ballistic tragectory.

You need to read more rather than look at terminal phase velocities and assuming anything with a terminal velocity of Mach 7 is hypersonic missiles.

Funny thing , is his nation is in testing phase of "bum's version of short-cum-medium range ballistic missiles with some twists. "

Do you know the difference between a ballistic missile vs a Hypersonic glide vehicle?

Do you know the meanings if a HYPERSONIC missile? By definition hypersonic is any objects which travels at mach 5 of above. Ballistic missiles travel at that speed upon rentry. Thus they could be considered hypersonic missiles.

I wont waste my time explaining the difference between a hypersonic glide vehicle vs ballistic missile. Do some research other than wion or hindustani times...

They have identified 129 means that only 129 missiles are identified as qualified missiles for sale I guess. Like UN has identified certain weapons of war that are legal to use and some like WMD are illegal weapons of war, it maybe an incorrect analogy but I think is enough to explain @Syama Ayas and MTCR’s point.

Any arm treaty is not possible between India and Pakistan because We have china at the east border.

We need minimum determination against the Chinese aggression with the latest hypersonic and nuclear missiles and other military types of equipment.

That's nonsense. Before the Chinese were even a remote threat to the US and India, Pakistan had offered a missile and nuke free South Asia on MULTIPLE occasions, an offer which India rejected. All India has done is start an arms race which it will lose and put the lives of 2 billion people at risk. Pakistan will acquire Chinese hypersonic technology which is leagues above anything India can dream of indigenously producing.

The only counter to these weapons is a pre emptive cyber attack, a capability only China and the US are capable of (guess what, China might give this technology to Pakistan as well! Why does India start arms races for no reason?)

India does not understand that there is no way to stop a nuclear attack by Pakistan. If they defeat the Pakistan Armed Forces, then their entire country will be destroyed. Their policy of attacking cities in retaliation for a few brigades on foreign territory being wiped out is pure bluff and was exposed as such in 2019. Now they are pursuing hypersonic weapons in an attempt to stop Pakistani nukes from launching altogether. And as usual they forgot that Pakistan can easily get the technology to stop Indian nukes from launching altogether as well.
