Hyderabad university plan still in doldrums because of dirty politics

thats the point to ponder why such a small town jamshoro has such big universities where as hyderabad doesn't have a university of its own

and yes in UK every city has its own university and thats pretty much the standard in the world, seems like you are not familiar with education and all

The crux is you see everything through a prism marked with excessive malice. Have you ever been to Hyderabad? Do you know the distance between Hyderabad and Jamshoro? It's easier for you to go to Jamshoro than certain areas of Latifabad.

Personally I don't oppose a university in Hyderabad - there should be one if necessary and it should be for everyone living in Hyderabad.

It'll be more better if the quota system would replace like other provinces.

Yes or you can say it's more beneficial for interior Sindh's students. A relative living in interior Sindh got admission in MBBS with 65+% marks, can you imagine that ?:ashamed:

Frankly speaking if this quota system is abolished than students from Sindh (including Hyderabad) would find it almost impossible to get admission to a med school.

same stone age mentality, then why doesn't govt fund med schools in interior sindh to be frank?

try to read the article there is a quota system which is very disadvanatge for hyderabadi students, among 25,000 hyderabad students who pass out every year there is room for only 482 students in hyderabad university, thus hyderabad needs its own university and every city even larkana even lyari has their own university, then why not the second biggest city of sindh?

Before that government should provide quality schooling throughout the province.

Well my cousin used to say "Our brilliant students have failed because our chance has given to less competent people" ..

How many students pass out every year in Karachi? How many of them are accommodated at varsities in Karachi? Not everyone can get admission my dear friend.

If the government has failed to provide quality education it's not our problem. Government should raise educational standards rather than imposing quota on us.

That's a bitter truth! Many students complaints despite of their high percentage they can't get admission to institutions in Karachi. The system is flawed, you got to rectify it from roots.

karachi needs more universities, who says karachi doesn't need more university? even lyari university was made by PPP with 50% quota of lyari, kaemari, korangi, GADAP etc quota but not in the second largest sindh city of Hyderabad

either more university or increase the capacity of the present ones

Man instead of establishing more universities we need to enhance the standards of already existing universities. Absolutely the uni at Lyari is unjustified considering the standards.

It can be if the people think as one.
