Husain Haqqani: Pakistan's Fortunes Can't be Rescued by Celebrity PM and Recycled Foreign Minister

I've made no such assumption. Indeed, guilt is something dishonest leaders are fond of inducing in their subordinates and followers. Now that I've tricked you, you have to stick with me or you'll be pursued for your part in the crime.

It's vitally important to get over this to escape from tyranny. In 1956 Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev gave the Communist Party Central Committee a "secret speech" revealing some of Stalin's most heinous crimes and torturings. At one point he was interrupted:

Voice: If Stalin was so bad, why didn't you get rid of him?

Khrushchev: Who said that?

[Silence]

Khruschev: Well, now you understand why we didn't do anything.

You're comparing him to these people who you consider noble, but to me, he's a Benedict Arnold, a scumbag who sold out his own people.

.
Why can't we have a special rule for our friend here. Don't. cite. benedict. haqqani. every. again.

"His own people" - who are they, exactly, and who can properly claim to speak for them?

What a bs statement.

Stop trying to sound profound, you just end up coming off as pretentious.

You know exactly what I mean

The traitor fugitive Haqqani hiding abroad talked about IMF and everybody else but no mention of Finance Minister Asad Umar. Seems they are part of the same team to damage Pakistan

Don't be stupid. I said it from the beginning, Pakistan would be forced to go to the IMF for a bailout, because of excessive borrowing from both Zardari, and Nawaz Sharif, didn't I?

Dies that mean I'm on their team? No.

You want Pakistan to avoid going to an international bank in the future? Pay your taxes, and convince other Pakistanis to pay their taxes. Don't blame Asad Umer for doing what he needs to, in order to avoid Pakistan's bankruptcy.
