Pilot's night vision sights are manufactured under the licence along with critical part of night vision systems called image intensifier tubes which enable to improve the sight of environment in difficult weather conditions.

The night vision weapon sight systems are designed and developed by Aselsan. In following years, Domestic Image intensifier tubes will also be integrated on domestic designed night vision sight systems.

That's one of the most critical and top detector technology of the World.

(ANKA and T-129 Atak use 2nd generation LWIR thermal sight system)

3rd generation Quantum Well Infrared Photodetector Trials ( ODTU-Aselsan) for thermal sights.

guess the only missing critical component ( technology ) for night vision gadgets was image intensifier tubes...

and now we have a project concering the production of this critical component locally
