Hundreds of political workers join PSP

KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) head and former Karachi mayor Mustafa Kamal has announced that more than 1900 political workers from different political parties have joined his party.

Speaking at a press conference here on Saturday, Mustafa Kamal said his party was approached by large numbers of political workers from various parties in the last few days.

“It has been a satisfactory day for the peaceful workers of PSP,” he said. “It’s the truth of our political philosophy that such a large numbers of people have joined a new party."

The former mayor said that his workers never resorted to violence despite provocations and victimization.

Many of those who opted to join the PSP were from MQM-P, PPP, PTI, MQM-H, PML-N, APML, JI, Sunni Tehreek, ANP, PML-Q and JSQM. - SAMAA

Although the party is madeup of the worse elements of MQM but they do have a catchy slogan

only if billions of dollars invested by ISI was for the progress of karachi rather than changing its political leadership to further corporate interests of fauji foundation, cantonements, defense housing, behria in Karachi

we dont see the ISI acting against PMLN as much it is against MQM in Karachi

changing political leadership doesnt equate to changing votebank and everybody has seen that countless times in various bye elections.

PSP will not get popular. Muhajirs will continue to vote MQM. Once in near future Karachi population reach 30 million on back of internal Pak migrations then mainstream parties will start to dominate in Karachi. We already saw signs of this in 2013 and will be more obvious in 2018 election.
