Shaan look and act like a superstar. Humayun is just lucky to have ary backing him. Fahad Mustafa is another average actor. Looks like now industry is only coming up with movies of either Humayun or Fahad. lol

Also not sure who gave Shaan idea of making remake of Indian soft **** movie Arth. He should stick with action and his movies will do gangbusters. It doesn't matter where industry shifted as 80% of revenues still comes from Punjab.

Pakistani movies are now completely a Karachi based affair i dont see that changing they have better scripts,better marketing and better HOME TOWN SUPPORT

Not completely, Parchi is Islamabad and upcoming Moula jatt 2 Lahore. Both will do great. Anyway Rangreza flopped hard and so will Chupan Chapai so its not like making film in Karachi mean success.

The old guards just don't know how to market and make proper commercial films. You can tell right away which film will be a hit by their buzz on social media. Parchi for example is a sure fire hit because they released a very good trailer on the ARY youtube channel. Arth on the other hand had an average trailer put on some unknown youtube channel. Also Shaan seems like the type of guy whose ego doesn't allow him to partner up with the likes or ARY etc.

too bad for Shan he was doing the same with Ali Zafar....i mean if you dont know how to market your films doesnt mean other are bad. Humayun & ARY films know how to Market their own Pakistani Films and make it commercial hit only two ARY films JPNA & PNJG made more then 100 crore business whch i think Shan's 450 movies combined didnt do. We respect Shan for his work but he should come out of his ego and should know now that Pakistan film industry has changed a lot and is now at international level and to make movies commercial success your tweets & big budgets only will not work. you have to run proper marketing campaigns with big channels and ads.

See let me also explain few things to u guys here, humayoon saeed gives hell lot of business to ary by making dramas for them. Half of the dramas that are aired on ary are produced by humayoun and his partner shehzad naseeb production house six sigma.

Also another thing Ary also promotes Humayoons films cause, Humayoon produced fils with three other film apart for himself. Humayoun, shehzad naseeb, another guy i forgot and fourth guy is Slman iqbal they all jointly produce. Now guess who is Salman iqbal?

Salman iqbal is the Ceo and owner of Ary channels after te demise of his uncle abdul razzaq yaqoob. So why would ary not promote films that are produced by Ary channels owner?

Only good thing about shaan is that he got tiger zinda hai banned cause he said that its an anti pakistan type of film and tiger was actually and indian spy caught from pakistan.
As of star power shaan is defo more charming as an actor than humayoon but he has too huge an ego compared to humayoon and he has a very arrogant approach in things. Please watch his whole interview here you will get my point and understand why shaan is not making it big in cinema.

WE dont have issue in ARY supporting Humayun Films the issue is why only ARY why not other channels support his films and ARY supporting other banners films vice versa. It will create very big impact to make film commercial success if all channels advertise all films just like in other big film industres like Hollywood.

Plus ary does support other films. They are promoting parchi they promoted mehrunissa lub u i think producers have to ebter into some profit sharing contract with them to promote wpfilms via ary films

Absolutely extremely well said , i wanted to add some more points but too tired at the moment but u put it so well in words. Honestly arth and rangreza have badly damaged urdu cinema with a pathetic bollywood rip off productions. Peopel were literally mocking Gohar for mocking some akshay indian kumars acting from some of his bollywood film.

Their main issue is lack of good stories and lack of creativity to break out of bollywood effect and create their own stuff

Yes i know u are saying ary n other channels must equally promote films. I think ary does promote other films too , when pnj was releasing they did somewhat promote mehrunissa bv lub u tho it wasnt there film they also invite actors whose films are abt to release on their morning shows or salam zindagi show. By promotion how intense a promotion u guys mean?
