I called my friend in Pardis. They heard nothing and they can't see any light. I'm not sure if the news is fake though.Any Iranians living in Iran that can shed some light on this?
A view of the explosion from the mountains in the north of Tehran
It's weird. The explosion looks so huge that I'm sure if it had happened in Pardis, a lot of people would've woken up from sleep.
The video I posted has been taken from Bam-e Tehran, a hiking spot in the north of Tehran City that goes up to the Tochal Mountains.Videos aren't long enough to hear a shockwave, or there isn't any.

Pardis is in the East of Tehran. I called a person living in Pardis and they had heard no explosion. It just doesn't add up.
That's another thing that is strange with this explosion. The flame is red and orange in color, meaning that the flame is not too hot. Maybe it's a gas pipeline?Apparently it may be a power station outage. Video below looks similar even though the fireball is blue-hued.

I don't know. A lot of people on twitter are saying that they heard no explosion. There are contradictory reports on the internet.dadash che khabare? baz gand kari kardan ? atash dustane dobare ?

Are there any military bases east of Tehran? I'm just trying to rule out another Bidganeh screw up.
I'm looking on google earth, can't seem to find any pipelines or power stations near Pardis.
