I think the best response to this aggression should be China should

a) Sell Iran Fighter Jets
b) Setup a Permanent Base in Palestine or Syria


Open a Joint Base with Russia in Cuba / Venezuela

And hold a Joint Navy , Practice with North Korea near Japan

Selling weapon to Iran in a tit for tat retaliation against US will result in sanction from all NATO countries. The best way for China is to wait it out and let the Trump government change in the next election.
