HRW criticizes scarf ban in Germany BERLIN: Laws banning female teachers from wearing the headscarf in parts of Germany violate the rights of Muslim women, according to a report published by Human Rights Watch (HRW).

The ban, in force in half of the 16 German states, “discriminates against Muslim women, excluding them from teaching and other public sector employment on the basis of their faith,” the report said.

HRW said countries that forbid the wearing of the headscarf, or hijab, violate women’s rights.

“The measures effectively force women to choose between their employment and the manifestation of their religious beliefs, violating their right to freedom of religion and equal treatment,” the New York-based HRW said.

They can let Women Teach while Exposing more than Half of their Body but will not allow Muslim women to Cover themselves while working or teaching.

I never understood these bans. They make no sense at all. I would understand granting liberties to wear or not wear, but to impose restrictions is against women's rights.

Surely they can't be out of something petty like being an annoyance to Muslims? Can it?

Just ask some one who have lived in central Europe.
It is simply simply a big anti Muslim mafia.
They will not accept Muslims even if they remove scarf.

I'm sorry to state that I have met people (one serbian and one from Bosnian Republika Srpska) they stated to me that they wish to rape Muslim women serbian fellow even went more further and said he wish to rape Saudi women and since he knew I'm from Pakistan he stated he also wish to rape Fatima Bhutto.. I was surprised to see that how far they know our political fabric.
He even knew what Fatima Bhutto do and once I have seen him veiwing her pictures..... they are sick people.

I have learned that Republika Srpska army is in very close military and intelligence cooperation with indian army and those who went to india for training became fanatic anti Muslims.

Balkan Muslim can consider my experience as word of caution.
I see very difficult times a head for the newly formed Muslim states e.g. Albania, Kosovo and in particular Bosnia.

Isn't that a bit far fetch.

Anyways, it is there country and they are aloud to make laws based on there culture. Clearly, If a western women went to Saudi Arabia without a head scarf and protested, would you also look at that as a human right issue? Most likely the answer is going to be NO, and then these political correct HRW people would not even say a peep about it.

dont understand the ban
but explains alot of the western world's real idea of us
and wearing thoses scarfs are culture not religion
