How will the Kurdish independence referendum affect neighboring countries

Kurds kill arabs in Syria and Iraq.
They raped arab women.
They banish arabs from her native.
For kurds, every arab is a ISIS terrorist.
You: "Everything is fine, support Kurdistan"
You are everything like a goddamn traitor but not an arab!

Kurds do not kill Arabs in Iraq and Syria because they are not capable of that and know what will happen if they do such a thing. A few examples of violence is what is to be expected during conflicts.

If we are objective here for a while, Kurds have been at the receiving end from Arabs (during Saddam's time and that of Hafiz al-Assad) so this kind of nonsense is not going to work.

Some Kurds might be trying that but over 1/3 of the population of KRG is Arab and that is without including the Assyrians (Chaldeans included), Turkmens and others. The Arab population in KRG is growing and approaching 40%. Hardly "Kurdistan" if you ask me. Barzanistani himself said in the interview that I linked to that he is not going to hurt Arabs or other groups and that they will become citizens in a possible future Barzanistan. In fact he might be lying but he has no other choice.

No, that is not the case just like not every Arab considers a Kurd a PKK/YPG etc. terrorist.

He is speaking for himself and his views (if he supports Kurdish land-grabbing).

Well, he is.

@Saif al-Arab I was wondering what are the opinions of arabs in the gulf states about the kurds? since kurdish groups are stealing sunni arab land in syria and Iraq i would of thought the arabs in the gulf region would put up more of a fuss about it.

99,9% are in support of Baghdad (in particular) and Damascus especially as many people, in particular in KSA and Kuwait have tribal and family ties to the Iraqi Sunni Arabs of Northern Iraq (the lands bordering "Barzanistan" = known as Jazirah in Arabic) and Syrians of Eastern and Northern Syria.

Other than that people do not have any problems with Kurds. In fact there are significant Kurdish minorities (now citizens) in KSA and other GCC states that go by the surname Al-Kurdi. The descendants of Saladdin (ra) live in modern-day KSA and Jordan nowadays as well and go by the name Al-Ayyubi.

As for what some private individuals say (they might be in favor of a Kurdish independence for whatever reason) it is what it is but the vast majority are as I described.

Of course there are those that believe (to counter Iran) that an independent Kurdistan in Iran should be supported similarly as how some Iranians are in support of dividing KSA and Arab countries based on sect, regional ties etc. That is another discussion.

But don't think that people hate Kurds as they have no reason to do so. The Kurdish-Arab rivalry is mostly felt among Iraqi Sunni Arabs that live near to "Barzanistan" and similarly the Syrian Sunni Arabs of Eastern and Northern Syria. For instance the average Iraqi in Baghdad or Syrian in Damascus do not have much dealings with Kurds expect for Kurdish migrants (his fellow citizens) that have gone to those cities in search for work but neither there, there have been any problems.

I think that it is wise to distinguish between leaders and the common people. The non-anti Arab Kurds/non-hostile Kurds should not be bothered and they should preferably be our partners and friends and not enemies. Goes for every other group in the region. That is my view though, others might have other views due to family history or whatever.

Kurdish problem will become the number 1 issue after IS is soon dealt with, then Abadi will have to take a strong stance against them or he won't win the election next year, he know this and will be pressured more after IS is finished conventionally in Iraq (this year).

What is the situation like in Kirkuk nowadays? Conflicting news about this depending on who you ask. See post 5 in this thread.

Some Turkmen fighters part of PMU present in Bashir close to Kerkuk city as well as other towns such as Toz Khormatu. They clashed with PUK Merga several times, then federal police came in the city to restore the order. Nothing much going on there aside from Kurds digging trenches as far as I know, Turkmens and Arabs aren't waiting for long-term governance by Kurds whom are extremely racist.

Iranian dislike for Arabs, at least from some anti-Islam Iranians in the west does not come close to Kurdish hatred for Arabs.

Oh I see, yea most common people act that way towards each other and are friendly, I should of worded my question better, I meant opinions about the "Kurdish groups and terrorists'' not the Kurdish people.

So far, I haven't found news about backlash from neighboring countries. It seems they're not in a position to block the referendum because of Uncle Sam.

Will it increase more turmoil? Is it the beginning of the breakup of the Middle East through ethnic and religious lines?
Wait. Didnt you hear about the near historic visit of Iran's top military leadership to Turkey a few weeks ago? They did agree to a joint military operation against "PKK",but obv that will include thwarting Kurdish indepenence. I'll say this- i dont see Kurds getting a well functioning, independent state anytime soon, just like the Palestinians. They are close, but just like Afghans, their neighbors look set to decide their future.Kurds cant get a state out of Turkey and Iran. Even Iraqi Central govt has kept the Kurds at the "autonomy" stage and can stop Kurdish oil from being sold out of her view. Besides, this new Kurdistan that Kurds think they will get soon(mostly from Syria and maybe Iraq)will serve US and Israel first and best, then Kurds next. Can Kurdistan even succeed the "Israeli way"?(live in a sea of hate and survive and be "stable and successful")- All Kurdistan's neighbours can say no at the same time, so who will help Kurds ultimately? America and Israel? Well maybe. Tbh i think most neighboring countries are sort of "quiet"about the Kurdish independence which u are bringing up,because they dont consider it a real serious threat yet. if and when that happens, they will change their posture and work towards their perceived interests more openly.

Same experience Kurds pretty much hate everyone, they call Turks "fosiks" (fascists) and Arabs IS but hey they got ugly girls holding guns so they must be very democratic and progressive.

I've heard Iraqi army is ramping up for the KRG is this true?

Yes near Kerkuk on several sides for the operation, but Kurds are wary of this cause it can be extended to overrunning trenches into Kerkuk city and oilfields

There are some rumors going on in Turkey, it goes like; After WW1 Turkey left Kirkuk and Musul to Iraq with the condition of those cities being integral part of Iraq. Now, some say if KRG declares independence and Kirkuk stops being an integral part of Iraq. Then Turkey has right to intervene and annex Kirkuk.

.
If Turkey, Iran, Iraq and somewhat Syria can actually unite on this one factor and have the will to invade we can say good bye to American and European shitistan dreams. I would rather see a greater Turkey, Iran, Syria or Iraq then independent Kurdistan.

Do a free for all, who every grabs the land takes it that will solve the Kurdish issue.
