How will the Kurdish independence referendum affect neighboring countries

Normal Arab behaviour since the time of the Ummayads. Although the Kurds are a mischievous bunch.

Any news from Iran on this matter?

Iran has opposed the referandum through different officials. Also army chief said Iran will close all its border crossings with Kurdistan in case it gets independence since all those contracts with Iraq would be annulled and no longer valid vis-à-vis Kurdistan.

.
Well of course this is true, Abadi is not a strongleader/strongman like Saddam, not as capable of rallying the masses. Others point this out also, such a video shows the same.

Although soft policy is often better in politics, the hard use of language Saddam applied would suit better in a military leader not a political one, otherwise you end up with Saddam's Iraq, North Korea etc. Abadi has managed to improve relations with every country around whilst Saddam put Iraq at war with the US twice which is very stupid, hopefully Abadi gets a 2nd term in next years election.

Hilarious video. With Saudi Arabian influences, I see.;)

True. Al-Abadi has done well and has tackled the "Kurdish problem" extremely professionally and gained the support of all relevant entities.

Anyway ignore the braying Turd and Arab-obsessed donkey and his fantasies. Ironically having an username containing Arab words.

That is "officially". In reality we know the two biggest backers of Barzanistani and PKU. They are both based in the region and they are not Arab countries. We also know that many Iranians support an independent "KRG". No need to pretend otherwise. The facts speak for themselves. Iraqis know about this well.

This sudden comedy and lie of suddenly being heavily against KRG is not what history or ground realities show.

Unity of muslims is the biggest hurdle of greater Israel and they want muslims to fight with each other which is going to happen first they sell arms to arab then kurd while they come to create peace while make ISIS strong saudia sud keep unity between Arabs no one can afford enemy from south east and north no matter how rich you are.

Bombing Kurdish women and children with chemical weapons like a savage animal is not 'dealing with a problem'. That's what Saddam Hussein did. Also supporting such genocidal actions only means one is not much different from perpetrators.
You speak if like the Kurds like you one of their forums they said persians should be exterminated and they should Better help their Turkic brothers instead of associate themselves with iranic

As for Halabja these Baathists animals try to blame it on iran

I think that using a harsh hand against the Biji Biji trench diggers again is very much needed.

I would use chemical bombs too against the enemies of the state and Arabs as well. Those trench diggers and land grabbers deserve a few chemical bombs.

BTW Halabja is a part time lie.

Hopefully this great man will be released soon.

and this beautiful branch of the Iraqi military restored:

Politicized Kurdish history is fake and written under influence of communism, sunnism, tribalism, feudalism, chauvinism, with the purpose of creating a new identity.

I'm suprise there is no thread about this yet.

What do Turks, Iranians and Iraqis think about this? So far, I haven't found news about backlash from neighboring countries. It seems they're not in a position to block the referendum because of Uncle Sam.

Will it increase more turmoil? Is it the beginning of the breakup of the Middle East through ethnic and religious lines?
This will trigger world wide divisions on ethnic lines. Its worst part is about to take place in europe. Actually the drama in spain is being staged so that a precedence may set for international community. Then will come international butchers with knives in hands. And then new carvings on the map, specially I repeat, Europe. Germany may be second after spain. Here in Asia, Syria and Iraq will be some other countries within few years. Iran, that is a americas best friend in the region, will soon feel the heat, both in headyard and backyard.

You are right but it's not just the Kurds it's the same in the arab,Persian, and turkish case

That's right many Kurds fabricate falsify manipulate history and facts but no one deny that the Kurds are as group they exist
and they are different from the others

Well done to the Kurds. Hopefully this will set the precedence for others to redraw the boundries drawn by colonial powers which makes absolutely no sense and is one of the main reasons for instability and is a hurdle to peace in prosperity in many regions. Ofcourse the colonial powers knew exactly what they were doing by splitting ethnic groups into different countries . If muslim countries were clever, they would have resolved these issues by themselves but instead due to their fake national pride and ego, they have allowed to be used against each other by colonial powers again. The hypocracy of Some Turkish people who support Azeri independene from Iran and Iranians suppprting Kurdish independence from Turkey is quite funny. I guess people need to learn the hard way sometimes. If the Kurds get closer to Isrealis or get used by others then it is entirely the fault of regional countries for not dealing with the Kirdish problem adequetly. The Kurds are only doing what they believe is in their best interests and is their natural right. Good luck to Kurds in realizing their dream of a united free kurdistan.

Iran is innocent in this. Those are guilty who created new countries after world war 1, but didnt create a (small) Kurdistan.

Turkish forces at Iraq border. Targets: Musul and Kerkuk as starters...

Turkish National Security Council decision - if the Northern Iraq goes to referendum despite all the warnings Turkey will defend her rights emanating from bilateral and international agreements concerning the guarantee to preserve the unitarian set-up of Iraq.

Translation: in the case of referendum, military intervention from the Turkish side is inevitable for the Northern Iraq is the home of Kurds, Turkmens and Arabs. And, it can't be allowed to be the breeding ground and launching pads for terrorists to fight proxy wars against Turkey.
