Unfortunately your own people are fooling you. Since 47 indians are living on believing that Pakistan will collapsed in 3 years. And now most indians have even lost their hope.

Similarly the west was predicting the collapse of Pakistan by 2012 at max but here we are in 2017 with terrorism very low and business ventures warming up.

Projections are based on an existing observation (the 'should things continue this way' scenario).

Anyhow, Pakistan withstood the trying times not on its own but with support of the same WEST we love to bash.

Musharraf managed to stimulate economy by siding with the WEST on the issue of terrorism, completely offsetting the negative implications of sanctions earlier in this manner.

Then PPP came to power and almost ruined Pakistani economy. PML(N) took charge afterwards and sought help from IMF to rescue Pakistani economy and it obliged. Once again, the WEST came to our rescue in a dire situation.

Now, China is investing in Pakistan. In-fact, Musharraf laid the foundation of CPEC during his tenure.

If Pakistan had been left to its own devices, it would have collapsed years ago. However, Pakistani geography is too vital for global players to ignore and Pakistani politicians have forged connections in a number of states to ensure support in dire times.

The above news report is very telling. It predicts the economic and state collapse of Pakistan if we go nuclear. Both the indians and americans vehemently claimed this back in 1998. Yet here in 2017, Pakistan is much more powerful in everyway and is on the path to becoming developed nation within the next 30 years. We also now even have the ability to make thermonuclear weapons:

It goes to show that indians & americans are always wrong about Pakistan as they can never understand or relate to us. Us Pakistanis are completely different to both these peoples.

One thing is to be taken note. It was 1998 and they were saying familiar things like Pakistan's economy is weak etc. That means we have been hearing that since so long and yet today Pakistan is still alive, kicking and harassing India. This means the Pakistan's weakness was exaggerated then. Is it still being exaggerated?

I pointed out earlier in one of my posts that in Pakistan, at least 70% of our economy is undocumented. It is not reflected in the figures churned out by Economy Survey of Pakistan. Many a times I just laugh seeing Indians and Pakistanis arguing over published Pakistani Economic Indicators. Most of the money for our Nuclear program came from undocumented off-the-books sources.

The situation isn't much different now.

Money or Manpower or Material or Machinery isn't Pakistan's issue. Good governance is.

Pak's budget for armed forces is really for salaries and some regular weapon systems purchases.

Let all enemies and local fools remain in their blissful ignorance... why wake them up from sweet dreams?

All of strategic programs are self supporting and can sustain the thrust for sometime..even under full sanctions... the Pak system is designed that way...it started in the 70's!

I would like to see more movement on Pak Space Agency... it is high time that it comes out in the open... also, Pak must start launching its own assets... collaboration with Turkey and China will be benefitial for all.

Can you imagine the heartburn and malice form petty creatures when Pak shall announce in understated manner that Pak SSN is launched in not too distant future... say 5-7 yrs timeframe. Afro-Asian Ocean is of strategic importance to Pak State.


Had Pak any patriotic and competent ruling class... Pak would have been a middle income country long time ago. Economy is no problem...corruption is. We must declare Total War on corruption.
