How Turkey got LUCKY with the F-35?

F35 can carry 2 MK84 with 2 Amraam within F15 Range! it is a huge deep strike capability with stealth body. nobody wants to be a target, you wouldnt be aware of what hits you! so stop BS .

yes it has some serious restriction but still the best fighter that you can buy on the market(we cant buy anymore)

Everyone is missing this simple truth. The F 35 is not invisible for every radar system. It's not magic or magician. Stop being stupid. See, although we had F 16 in our hands, but we strike the idlib with drones to avoid risking for both pilots and planes. The F35 is a money trap, and the US is not our true ally.

Yeah,we are so lucky, the F-35 is so bad that the Israelis were the first non-partner to get them.
They must be out of their minds, how could they have made such a mistake,im sure it was a political move.
Thank god we dodged the bullit by buying the S-400 from Russia our BFF.
Very dumb argument. The fact of the matter is that Israel got them practically for FREE. Turkey would've had to pay 30-40 billion USD. Israel receives over $4 billion/year in free military aid from the US, not to mention around $8 billion/year in loan guarantees. Jews OWN the US.

Canada, for example, CANCELLED plans to acquire 65 planes and walked away from the whole F-35 program because it costs too damn much and the price keeps climbing. Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau got elected mainly by promising Canadians that he'd never buy the F-35 junk.

Are you saying Canadians are stupid to not buy this "super-duper flying lemon"?

The F-35 debacle is one of the biggest losses for Turkey in recent history, some try to paint it as victory i wonder what their plan B is, if there is any.

Lets hope that if there are any, their plan B remains as a plan only. Because I somewhat think that the moment they implement a so called plan B, it will complicate things even more. Probably as far as new sanctions.

Im actually still waiting for someone to come up how TF-X is gonna be the solution while explaining the dependancy on west in F-35 issue.

I've lived in the US for 20 years. Unfortunately most Turks are naive, brainwashed by Hollywood and know fvckall about how the US military industrial complex works and how much they lie and cheat and even rob the American public itself.

The Pentagon cannot account for $21 TRILLION USD. It's all gone. Disappeared. There's zero accountability in America. No one knows what happened and nobody gives a damn because they're spending the money that they print themselves.

F-35 is still suffering from HUNDREDS of issues that wait to be fixed. Yet Lockheed Martin is reportedly spending more money towards ADVERTISING the F-35 than actually fixing its existing problems.

Such "simulations" are fully controlled by the US military industrial complex. F-16s were built by the same company (Lockheed) who's now trying to aggressively market the F-35. How do you think it'd look if its old planes beat its new planes? It's all rigged and bullshit. You'd get a more honest assessment reading Lockheed's product brochures.

This kind of stuff has been done previously in some other projects in history of USA.

How the F-35 is TOTAL BULLSHIT and was only designed to do one thing: Siphon money into the pockets of the US military industrial complex.

Air Warfare changed, no more dogfights... every country develops advanced AESA and BVR missiles for a reason.
If stealth is useless why would the US, China, Russia, Germany+France, UK and even Turkey dump billions in this type of tech?
Sorry but saying that F-35 is bullsh!t, is BULLSH!T.

The F-35 has the most advanced tech. for now, it's a AWACS, A-10, FA-18 Growler, F-15SE and Harrier together in a aircraft in the size of a F-16. It's a economic disaster because corruption and US's ridiculous requests.

Take a look at your arguments,FREE,JEWS OWN THE US,blah blah.
The F-35 is the best there since the F-22 is not available, not even for the JEWS the OWNERS of the US which is kind of strange since its their fighter jet.
The future is BVR but not for you it seems, then come up with an alternative since you are the expert old man?
What you gonna put on your mini carrier?
You sound(act) like a populist, against everything without having/giving an alternative.

And thats why many non-partner countries opt for the F-35,right?
Japan,Singapore,South-Korea,Poland,Belgium are all stupid huh?
Btw,the cost of the F-35 has gone down considerably between $94 million (F-35A) and $122 million (F-35B).
Are you saying Canadians are stupid to not buy this "super-duper flying lemon"?
Yes and no,
Yes if Canada wants to be a player in international operations.
No if Canada doesnt want involment in international operations.

You know nothing about air ''systems'' so dont act like you do,old man.
Try Naval platforms or Army vehicles, maybe you'll get Lucky there.

There are two separate "discussions" here.

1. Whether the F-35 project will result in a competent fighter aircraft in the next 3 decades.
2. Whether Turkey did well to bluff the US with the S-400 acquisition, and consequently get removed forcefully from the F-35 project.

One discussion should not really inform your opinion on the other, and vice versa. It is entirely plausible to assume that the F-35 will become the competent backbone of NATO in the years to come (like the F-16 is now), AND that Turkey did well to move away from it for its own reasons.

First of all, you know nothing about me so don't make assumptions about what I know or don't know. Attack my arguments, not ME.

All the countries you listed have no choice but to abide by US dictations because their security depends on the US military doctrine of global domination. US asks them to jump, they say how high. Poland and Belgium need US protection against Russia and the rest on your list need protection against China.

As for cost of the F-35. It's not so much about how much you have to pay to buy it. The real cost lies in the operation, training, maintenance, proprietary spare parts, software updates, etc. It's the MOST EXPENSIVE mainstream plane to operate in the history (excluding specialty planes like SR-71).

I'm sure you've heard. Australian version of the popular TV show "60 Minutes" was filming a couple of Aussie pilots undergoing F-35 training at Luke AFB in Arizona with their brand new plane. As the producer woman watched on the ground, the pilot climbed into the cockpit, flipped some switches, nothing happened, and then 30 minutes later had to climb back down and hop into another plane to take off, live on TV!!! The entire world laughed its azz off. They later said it was a software glitch. Fvcking software! That's how unreliable this piece of shit airplane is.

Alternative, you ask? It's the MMU TF-X. We're developing it RIGHT NOW and we don't need another plane (especially from our "enemy") before they roll off the assembly line.

Canada is led by famous SJW Trudeau.Yes,they're stupid.
Yes. Anyone who's not agreeing to give all their money to Lockheed Martin and surrender their national security to the whim of the US President is stupid. Everyone else is being "smaaaaartttt".... yersen.

You lost the argument when you quoted Pierre Sprey.
