How to wipe out Indian Paws

We INDIANS never wanted the Bangladeshis to thank us for the support we gave. We did what we thought was right and we dont want to take credit neither do we want bad publicity. Just say occasional thanks if u want but that will be a courtesy and not something which u owe us.

As far as INDIAN hegemony is concerned, wtf does it mean ? we have never annexed any piece of land from any of our neighbours. Our Army never crossed the borders neither on western front nor on eastern front ( except when BD was formed ).

And if u are so concerned about INdia's role in 1975 famine ? plz research about india's position as economic power during those days. We had to mortgage our gold to buy wheat from US ? U have a limited perspective about us.

Nobody thought we as a nation could survive with so much diversity/ incompatibilities coupled with the fact that the whole country was rendered pennyless after two centuries of slavery under british rule.

We came out with flying colours and we can claim to be role models in some fields atleast..... so how about stopping your arrogant society with caste system CRAP !!

Our leaders were considered as push overs by western powers till recent and u call us arrogant ?

I am not disputing any of the points you are making, neither am I living in total denial that India did not interfere, but it is the hegemony that I have an issue with. It is the fact that they are poking their business and they have an attitude that we owe them. If I had such low standards as them, even I can claim that it is Bangladesh which is why India still sustains.

Lets face it, if Bangladesh was still a part of Pakistan, India would be out of existence and given America had always supported Pakistan during that time, I doubt India's capability to fight against the Nixon administration. And I can get into a lot of ifs and buts, but i won't because stooping down to that level is not my thing.

And actually, Nixon did have a role in the 71 war. Indira got him pretty quick.

And the fact most of the donations and grants were smuggled out to India was well known. In the book, Blood Legacy, this is mentioned quite a few times. And lets say we believe the Indian version of the story, that they came because they were good citizens and being good neighbour in their blood, Where were they during the famine? Some authors claimed the famine killed more than the war. Even their favourite despot Shake Mujib was pretty much anti india during the end of his regime.

I look forward to read it. And yes, Mujib was very cautious of India in the end. He didn't let India interfere too much. I respect him for that.

As far as Indian hegemony is concerned, I don't see any reason to worry too much about it. I mean, even after 40 years - there is still Bangladesh. We have come a pretty long way. At first, there was no sugar at the time. Very bad quality clothes used to come from India, our ports destroyed, etc. But, we don't have those problems anymore. In fact, being a small country with limited resources, political instability and a huge population, it is a miracle that the country still runs somehow. God has been on our side all along. In fact, Kissinger started believing in God when he first visited Bangladesh

India is still a country with many problems of its own, along with various insurgencies. It is the underdog in the world of superpowers. But it has progressed much nonetheless. I really doubt their ability and experience to be jingoistic as the US. If we look at the wealthy Middle Eastern states and EU, they are pretty good in terms of stability and standard of living, but there is US influence, and there are criticisms and issues - yes even in Europe.

Technologically, India's military would be nothing without Russian help. Hell, even the Iranians are better at being self-sufficient

India just doesn't have that in it right now as far as being jingoistic goes. And will be that way for a long time. And as long as they have a competitor in the neighborhood, the need for an external sources for military hardware (India is the largest importer of foreign-made weapons) I see no reason to worry. And there is the US whose interests in Bangladesh are very fair.

What is the real estate situation in india is there more room to accomodate Indians well its is very populated country no doubt like I feel Pakistan has huge populate when I walk streets but india is 10 times more ppl wonder how it will all be sustained

Yeah, best not to get into ifs and buts. It's fairly hard to claim that India wouldn't exist if Bangladesh-Pakistan and America had allied against us. Maybe the Soviets would have helped, maybe China would have gotten involved...

The bad relations with BD is the fault of our dumb govt they were never be able to take advantage of the trust BD used to have on us during 1971
But one thing amuses me very much and that is the way BD members are acting , they are seeing only one side of this situation
These guys are so angry for the killing of the refugees and drug traffikers but my question is what do they want us to do instead of killing them ? Maybe allow them to further increase our population growth and crime .
