You are a "senior" member out here. With more then 5 years and 3000+ posts. Atleast bring in some maturity to your posts. We are talking about a 30 year old scenario.
What were the best available fighters IAF have back then?
Go check out the stature of F-16 in the World back then. It was the "Raptor" of that time. And its not a chest thumping, which I am doing, with out a solid proof.
This same F-16, scores dozens of kills without a single loss over USSR. I am not sure, what is into Indians mind, when they are talking over serious defence related topics.
