Many Muslim people that were previously either neutral or pro-China have become anti-China because of the policies regarding the treatment of Muslim minorities.

Muslim leaders might be quiet about it for now but Muslim people are not happy with what’s going on.

Last thing China needs is to get the Muslim world against it with a geopolitical confrontation with the US currently underway.

China can’t get into a geopolitical struggle with the US, EU, India, Japan and the Muslim world all at the same time.

Nopes, this particular thread is not because of Chinas action on its Muslim population. I think my last thread was literally pro-China a day ago. I was and am more intrigued by the following video than the three mentioned in the start of the thread, I could hardly understand the English of that guy.

And it talks about global recession, especially the Chinese recession that is going to come, according to him. He did comment about Turkey, Japan, Europe and UK too so...

These article is just a waste of time and bandwidth here.

This people want premier location. CCP is not oblige to provide luxury for them. In terms of food, public transport , education, electricity. China is far much lower than western countries. Not to mention, those facilities are better than west.

It was my personal observation that a lot of things have been changed since Xinjiang "reeducation camp" and "Chinamen marriying Pakistani women" became hot issues in Pakistan. These days, Pakistan members are more willing to buy western propoganda concerning China, and it would be more like a joke to bring up "higher than mountain, deeper than ocean, sweeter than....".

The hostality is even evident in this very thread.

The real estate law is very different in China than in Canada. I didn't move to Canada, I just invested in real estate there. It's an investment not immigration. Well, there are some who will immigrate too and I don't deny the fact. But mostly, it's investment.

Some Pakistani members are simply sending Chinese to the Indian camps and the Indians are waiting with open arms.
But as of now the Chinese Government is still in favor of Pakistan than India.
Can you imagine if they start to favor India over Pakistan?

The real estate law is very different in China than in Canada. I didn't move to Canada, I just invested in real estate there. It's an investment not immigration. Well, there are some who will immigrate too and I don't deny the fact. But mostly, it's investment.

But as of now the Chinese Government is still in favor of Pakistan than India.

Chinese gov wont favor India over Pakistan, but Chinese people wont take Pakistan as brother for granded. I dont see many Chinese forumers these days refering Pakistan as "Iron Brother" as they used to. They tend to view Pakistan as another Muslim country.

I know that is highly unlikely. But even if there is a 1 percent chance which even I highly doubt. Since the Pakistani Government and the Chinese Government are hand in glove.
The only thing that can spark is, if Pakistan's Government starts to interfere with what we do in Xinjiang. I am saying this since, Governments can change, what if tomorrow Pakistani Government is pro - religious? This could start a huge fire.

I am sorry to say but you are the problem.

Due to your "investment," it is so much more difficult for locals like myself to afford a home.

Why can't you change Chinese laws and allow for investment in Chin..... or I am sorry, you can't change anything.

I will say that Canada is starting to catch on and some places are putting "foreign buyers tax"
hopefully that will scare away some Chinese investors so locals can buy homes.


btw, if you really want to invest, invest in the stock market.
An index fund will return on average 7% and that way it is a win win for everyone.

If the west wants to brew that anti China sentiment, even China doesn't do anything, they will still do that and portray China as a baby eating demon. China has been treating the minorities the same all along, nothing really changed. Did you ever see they mention China's decades old minority preferential policies? 欲加之罪何患无辞。

Guo wengui exile to US. You expect him to say rational things about real Chinese economy? He is just bitter of kick out of China and spread nonsense. Guo wengui is just like Gordan Chang. Gordan Chang talks about China collapse is immenient for past 20years. Has it happened? Their words have no credibility. It just to satisfy those US hawkish who always delude themselves from real strong China.
