Burkah is not worn by weak women! It is worn by those who have backbone, strong faith and can handle themselves Islamically. We see alot of sisters from Britaniya wear Burkha and have a positive effect on our sisters in A.K.

It is unfortunate we live in a society where men don't give women their due rights Islamically. We had a brother who came and complaining his wife doesn't wear hijab, and not listen to him, etc.

He was reminded instead of pointing fingers; follow the Quran and Sunnah and she'll follow him. Actions speak louder than words. His wife took the children to the public school and back, cooked and washed for him and his brothers who were staying at his house. When it was pointed out to him you don't give her rights! He said, I know!!!!!! What are you complaining about???

Remember what I wrote in last thread, new generation is devoid of responsibility and it's ALWAYS someone else fault.

So...A Burkha can decide one is Islamic or not....???... Just cover yourself with Burkha for a week, while temperature is 40+ degree , you will get to know how women might be feeling.

Its a personal choice of a woman to cover herself from head to toe. No one should be enforced Burka, that's a rule.

May be Saudis force it but not around the Muslim world. Women wear hijab or burqa out of their own choice.

If you want to see 'natural beauty' of a woman without the tent as you said, then who are you trivialize women who choose to wear it not under duress but of their own conviction.

I absolutely hate this so called liberal view against hijab. I personally dont like this Saudi influenced burqa thing as our society had been a progressive one until the influx of Middle East influence in 80s and 90s.

Bhan jee, if you wouldn't have been so selective in my quote you would have understood I was giving an example of sisters from Christendom who wear Burkhah in kuffar lands. One can only imagine how difficult it must be for them, but they wear it because they fear Allah. These sisters are true mujahids. May Allah bless them. Amin.

I further more said, sisters here don't wear it even though there is zero discrimination. Brothers are ALL talk, if they took a leaf from the sisters book, we would be a better society. Back in the days, men led by example; today it is our sisters who lead the way.

Here is an example and I heard of a family from A.K. The husband never prayed, the wife started praying and started to wear hijab and then she went onto burkha. The husband felt ashamed and he started praying. LOOK who is leading who? This is a rightous sister. MayAllah bless her. Amin!
