No, BD is not sinking but has been really rising with the accumulated soil/ silt since the Himalays started to form about 60 million years ago when Indian tectonic plate started to go under the Eurasian plate.

Now, the sea level is rising that may someday overtop the coastal areas in BD.

So, please ask the BD govt and people to learn the technologies to build strong sea dykes/ polders that have been built by the Christian Holland/ the Netherland without waiting for the superstitious devine intervention.

In most of the cases only earth/ soil is required to build the dykes but our people are even not able to build this small thing. instead, we ask Christian countries to build them.

By the way, who was/ is Sher Shah Suri? Was he a great Peer somewhere like Shah Amanat of Chittagong, Hazrat ShahJalal of Sylhet or Shaikh Farid of Faridpur?
